How to switch on signature validation logging on Mac OS X

Hi,

I'm trying to switch on signature validation logging for Acrobat Pro DC according to the documentation here:

Digital Signatures

But I just can't get it to work. I edited the plist file $HOME/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist with the XCode plist editor and added the LogFilePath and LogLevel settings as follows:

signature_logging_plist.png

The documentation of the LogFilePath entry says that the output file must already exist, so I created an empty output file. LogLevel 4294967295 is  "0xFFFFFFFF: all messages".

I re-read the preferences as specified in the Enterprise Administration Guide:

Macintosh Deployments — Enterprise Administration Guide

defaults read $HOME/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist

Then I open a PDF that is signed and where the signature is validated by Acrobat. Nevertheless the log file always stays empty.

What am I doing wrong?

My environment:

Mac OS X 10.10.5

Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Release (Classic)

Architecture: x86_64

Build: 15.6.30096.160934

AGM: 4.30.61

CoolType: 5.14.5

JP2K: 1.2.2.35078
