Enable PDF certificate on demand
I want to secure my PDF so only certain people can open it and noone else.
If I secure my PDF with self signed digital certificate (create new digital ID) and secure it with password, is there any way I can send secured PDF together with certificate but without reveiling password? The reason I want this, because if I reveal password, he can either remove security or share that certificate with password to someone who's not eligible to view content of that PDF. In another words, I would like to have the power to allow, who can open my secured PDF with Adobe DC.

Available Localizations for Search & Remove Text Patterns (Acrobat Pro)?
I would like to search for Social Security Numbers or other "localized" text patterns in PDF:s.
This user guide tells you how to change tha localization: Removing sensitive content from PDFs, Adobe Acrobat. Does anybody know if there is a localization for Sweden available or if you can create custom patterns?

Button or code to activate fill & sign option.
Hey guys,
I know there has been many discussions on automating signatures and such, but im in need of something simpler.
Is there a way to create a button that runs some type of custom code that will open up the "Fill & sign" insert signature option?
In custom actions, I noticed this is the only option they don't allow you to quickly automate. Very annoying. These are service report forms for our field technicians that interact with customers. Im fully aware that it is relatively simple to just click the "Fill & Sign" tool, but like any profession form, everything needed should be directly on the forms page in an easy to identify tool bar type system, in my opinion.
So is there anything that can be done to simply just activate this tool to bring up the "Sign" box?

Limit digital signature access on an Adobe account ?
Hey
With a few users sharing an account is there a way to limit access to the digital signatures on one Adobe cloud account ? I guess I am looking for a separate password to be entered in order to gain access.

Multiple Security Permissions
Is there any known way to allow for more than one security permission when password protecting/restricting editing of a PDF?
I need to allow for inserting, deleting, and rotating pages and filling in form fields, but can only do one or the other.

locking a form -
I have created a form in Adobe Acrobat and want my team to have to "save as" the template. They can then modify and complete the form, then save as a PDF document to share with their customers. How do I accomplish this?

How to certify a PDF so that it remains compliant with PDF/A-3u?
We are using Acrobat Pro DC's preflight feature to convert PDFs to comply with the PDF/A-3u standard. Our next step is to use Acrobat Pro DC to digitally certify the same PDF. Once that is done, Acrobat Pro DC reports that the file no-longer complies with the PDF/A-3u standard.
Here is a screen cap of the preflight indicating the issue.
Is there a way to certify PDF/A-3u files that doesn't break conformance with the standard?
I asked this same question in the PDF standards forum here. The conclusion was that Acrobat Pro DC is breaking the PDF/A-3u standard when it signs the file. Any suggestions as to how we can overcome this issue or is it simply a bug in Acrobat Pro?

creating a multi-part form with signatures
I need to create a multi-part form, with multiple digital signatures. (I see this part of what I need has already been addressed in a previous post.)
However, I want each digital signature to be tied to a particular part of the form, rather than just having all signatures tied to the entire form.
I want Part I to have a coordination line(with digital signature). After applicable Part I fields have been filled in and that coordination has been applied, I want Part I to be locked--no longer editable, and for only Part II to be editable.
I want Part II to have a coordination line(with digital signature). After applicable Part II fields have been filled in and that coordination has been applied, I want Parts I & II to be locked--no longer editable, and for only Part III to be editable.
I want Part III to have a coordination line(with digital signature). After applicable Part III fields have been filled in and that coordination has been applied, I want Parts I, II, & III to be locked--no longer editable, and for only Part IV to be editable.
I want Part IV to have a coordination line(with digital signature). After applicable Part IV fields have been filled in and that coordination has been applied, I want Parts I, II, III, & IV to be locked--no longer editable, and for only Part V to be editable.
I want Part V to have a coordination line(with digital signature). After applicable Part V fields have been filled in and that coordination has been applied, I want Parts I, II, III, IV, & V to be locked--no longer editable, and for only Part VI to be editable.
I want Part VI to have a coordination line(with digital signature). After applicable Part VI fields have been filled in and that coordination has been applied, I want the entire record(Parts I, II, III, IV, V, & VI) to be locked--no longer editable.

how to set a single password for multiple documents in PDF at one time.
I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (version 2015) (continuous) | 2015.017.20050
I followed these instructions form de website: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2167637
1- create an action by going into Tools > Action Wizard > create New Action
2- Under Choose Tools to add > Click Protection > Encrypt > and click on + sign to add this to the right-hand panel (uncheck the box next to Prompt user).
3- Then click Save & Export > Save> and add it to right-hand panel (you can change output options by clicking on specifiy settings)
4- Click Save and give action a name. (for ex: Batch password).
5 - Go to Action Wizard > Actions > Batch password
6- Click on Add Files> select all the files you want to add password to and click Start.
And it does not work !
Acrobat Pro DC requires me to enter the password for each document !
I have 25 000 documents to insert a unique password.

In addition to signing docs I also need to initial multiple pages. How do I set up digital initials and drop them onto the page?
I am using Acrobat X Pro. I've seen directions online for other versions of Acrobat but they do not coincide with X Pro Tools.

How do I delete a test document that I signed?
I wanted to test the signature functionality before I used it on the official document and sent it to others, so I sent and signed a PDF myself. I now want to delete it from my Adobe Document Cloud - is this possible?

Disabling Digital ID
Hello. I got a pop - up saying something like digital id update, or something. I clicked update, but didn't know that it would cause all my documents to have to use digital id only. Even when I use the fill and sign option, my signature image just fades into the signature box that requires the digital id. I no longer want to use digital id, but instead go back to using an image for my signature without the box being blue. I have even uninstalled Acrobat Reader DC and a digital id is still required! My only other option is to print the documents and sign them manually, which defeats the purpose of this application. I am using the most current version of this application and I have a Windows 10 laptop. Is there a way to disable digital id?
By the way: I have searched many forums on here and haven't found a solution. All of them are saying to delete the digital id, but a. I haven't made one and b. I want the whole feature gone of this application. Please help!

How do I setup a digital signature for my user to digitally sign PDF documents in Adobe
I have a user that requests being able to sign PDF documents with a digital signature. I've looked at various articles and need some guidance. I understand that I need to purchase a certificate from a CA like GoDaddy, but not sure since I've never purchased a public certificate. Can you provide some assistance to get this setup. This is going on a Windows 10 PC for Adobe Reader DC.

Adding Multiple (Drop Down/List More than 2+) Signatures
Calling out for experts with Adobe Acrobat DC Pro 2018 version (licensed version installed)......
Previously my user was using Acrobat 2015 version and was able to drop down all/multiple listed of signatures used previously to the document (signatures are jpg format) and choosing which signature to add to a document.
Recently i installed DC 18 Pro version which does not give you this functionality. I couldn't find it.
Now with this 18 Pro version it only lists one, or the last used (not say signature used before/prior to this/like a list of recently used), for these other signatures the user needs to go through manually each time choosing each time there is a change/different signature required to add to a document.
I tried on 2015 version and works but not on 2018 version.
Is this functionality available in A/A DC Pro 2018 version? Is there setting (in Adobe/registry) that needs to be done? Any assist/guide/link will be appreciated.
Also has Adobe removed this functionality?
Note, Using Signature & Initials in Fill In & Sign - allows max 2 - is not answer I'm looking for.

Help with the password in the Sign Document dialogue box.
How can I update or delete the password in the Sign Document dialogue box that comes up? It appears just underneath the Sign As field. My peers do not have to enter a password here to sign a document, but I do. There is no need to do this so I would like to remove the password. I cannot figure out how to do so.
