Revoke database could not be reached at the moment a person signs the contract - Adobe Entrust Validation Authority.
We have a problem with our current version Acrobat X Professional. We
use the program for digitally signing contracts. At this moment we are get the
an error regarding a revoke message cause the revoke database could not
be reached at the moment a person signs the contract. We do have valid
signatures and don’t get an error for that. Refers to Adobe Entrust Validation

Has the sign tool in Internet Explorer 10 in Acrobat 9 been removed in Acrobat Pro DC??
I have a requirement to add a signature image to an existing PDF using a Topaz GemPlus signature capture pad, when launching the PDF from an Internet Explorer 10 browser window. This worked in prior versions, including Acrobat 9, but appears to have been removed or hidden in the latest Acrobat Pro DC version. The "Fill & Sign" tool option on the right panel says "Fill & Sign not available in Browser..." I do not have the option to save the PDF file and launch Acrobat outside of the IE browser environment. The integration with the Topaz device -- whereby simply drawing a rectangular box using the mouse activated the signature capture pad -- also appears to have changed or been removed in the new "Fill & Sign" tool.
In summary, I need to be able to click on the "Sign" tool in a browser window, draw a rectangle for the signature box, automatically open the device to draw and capture the signature, and then Save a Copy of the modified PDF file. Authenticated digital signature and certificates are not required for my purposes.
Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions, or commiseration if in fact Adobe has removed these critically required capabilities in the upgraded Acrobat Pro DC version I purchased today.
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC sending for signatures, choices and comments
I have a PDF form created to use for (signature/radio button and comments section) for digital proofs for printing designs.. I would like the client to be able to approve or indicate changes for each item in the suite. Not quite sure how to get this done as I would like the actual PDF proof in the document (muliptle pages). I think I can do it that way but only if I imported a JPG of the Proof into each page. I know how to mechanically set up the file for choices and signatures and text fields. It's getting the proof into each page. Is that even possible? See image, I want to add the PDF proof at the bottom of each page.
Error encountered while BER Decoding when trying to sign a document
Hello all. We have a user using digital signatures (the ones with timestamps and so on and so forth) and when they try and use their signature, they get the above message. I've tried to delete their old profiles from the signature manager, but I also get an error message stating the signatures weren't from Adobe Acrobat 8 and so they can't be removed.
Does anyone have any suggestions on this other than trying to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat?
Thank you.
Executing a .bat file from an Adobe Hyperlink
I have a simply .pdf form with a hyperlink to a .bat file that runs a routine to open a viewer and open a file. It works fine when running from Adobe 9 Standard but when folks run it from Adobe Reader 9 and up they get an error message that these types of files (.bat) can not be executed from Adobe Reader. I'm guessing they are on the blacklist like .exe files. Is there a way around this? I'm using this on a captive network so I not worried about a virus from an external .bat file. Any help would be appreciated!
Certificate Encryption
I have a secured PDF with Certificate encryption. If I have to add a new user's security key to grant them access to the PDF it seems like I lose the current users security access to the PDF. Is there a way around this or do I have to add all users every time there is a additional user to be added.
Thanks
Al

"Could Not Send" error when trying to send for signature
I have a prepared form with multiple date, initial, and signature fields for 2 signers, but when I go to "ready to send" I just get this error message. I have tried multiple times, re-adding the fields into fresh PDFs, I even uninstalled Acrobat DC and reinstalled it, but same thing happens every time. What am I doing wrong?

I cannot sign (signature) a document with digital ID
Dear All,
I have installed an Acrobat Pro DC and found that I cannot sign a pdf document with a digital ID stored in the computer.
In Acrobat Pro XI, there is a prompt ask me to mark the place for the signature and then I need to enter password to sign the pdf document.
Now in Acrobat Pro DC, I can sign a pdf document with either "initial" or "signature" and both do not required the input of password.
Following the on-line instruction, I have prepared an ID stored in my computer and have create a personalized signature.
Your kind advice to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Send for Signature - Redirect and Error
Hello -
I have now contacted 2 'Chat' technicians with regard to this issue and have been told I would be contacted to no resolve. I am hoping someone may be able to help me here.
Essentially after updating my Adobe ID to my new email address the Send for Signature functionality in Acrobat DC and the website no longer appear to work.
When using the Document Cloud Site:
-After selecting Send for Signature from the menu at the top I receive the 'Send documents for signature in a few simple steps.' prompt. After i click Send for Signature I receive the 4 blocks indicating a new page is loading - however after a second or so I am immediately re-directed back to the main Send for Signature Page
When using Acrobat DC
-After selecting Send for Signature I click Select files I select the file and click ready to send.
-I receive an error message indicating Could Not Send An error has occurred. Please try again.
The technicians said it was because my ID was out of sync - with what I assume was the old EchoSign servers.
Steps taken to attempt a fix - Acrobat DC:
-Signed out and signed in from Acrobat DB
-Attempted a 'Repair' of Acrobat DC from Help Menu
-Attempted multiple PDF files for signature with varying sizes
-On Document Cloud Site
-Signed out and signed in
-Cleared Cookies and History
-Changed Browsers to test it wasn't a browser config
-Changed computers
-Attempted multiple PDF files for signature with varying sizes
Sept 2 2015 Update Removed Capability to Use Image As Signature
Adobe Acrobat XI prompted me today to upgrade something, so I clicked yes. Now when it gives me a list of how to create my signature, 4 of the 5 options are greyed out and the only one left is "use a certificate", which I am not interested in doing. I only want to "use an image", which I have been doing for the past year and a half. How to I do this now?
I need to create a fillable pdf form that allows print but not save. Is that possible?

Allowing only ONE signature field to be filled within a PDF that contains three signature fields
I've created a PDF that has three signature fields, however only one must be signed. This is a print proof, so they may only choose one option to sign off on. However when I send the document for a signature using Adobe Acrobat it is requiring all three fields to be signed. I have edited each sig field so that they are NOT required, but this doesn't change that they are still being required when sent. What is the workaround for this, or is there a different method that I should be using.
Thanks in advance.
why don't I have digital signature(send to others) tool in my Acrobat..?
For some reason, I don't have digital signature tool in my Acrobat. I have the one I can use for myself, but not the one that would allow me to send documents for signatures to others. Why is that...? I have in in my iPhone, but not in my mac.
